Show the reasoning, name the stone, and never promise what a bracelet cannot do.
Most five-element and “birth energy” products online work the same way: a quiz, a vague paragraph, a product pushed at the end. None of it shows how the conclusion was reached — because most of it cannot be shown.
We think a tradition that survived a thousand years deserves better than that. BaZi (八字) has rules — pillars, Day Master strength, favourable elements, luck cycles. Rules can be written down, checked, and argued with. So we built an engine that computes the chart in your browser and shows the rule behind every line of the reading. If you disagree with the reading, you can at least see why it said what it said.
Every strand is strung by hand in our studio in Hangzhou, China — the same city as our warehouse, so what we photograph is what we ship. We buy natural stone (tiger eye, obsidian, and cinnabar-bearing mineral composite), we disclose treatments and expected variation on every listing, and we price honestly for the material you are getting.
Our brand mark is a taiji whose dividing line becomes a pulse — the tradition on one side, the living person on the other, and five beads where the line turns: wood, fire, earth, metal, water.
In keeping with a temple-blessing tradition long observed in China, every bracelet is taken to a temple before it is sent out. A certificate from the ceremony travels with each piece — if your parcel arrives without one, you may return the order.
Same birth data, same reading — every time. The engine runs entirely in your browser: nothing is uploaded, and when you close the page, nothing remains. Because the same rules produce the same chart for the same birthday, you can check any line of your reading against the published method and see exactly why it said what it said. The full conventions are documented on the Method page.
We would rather you not pick a bracelet by looks alone. Your reading identifies the elements that support your chart, then shows you the strands whose stones match them — wood, fire, earth, metal, water — for you to choose from. The suggestion names its rule; what you wear is still your call.
SoulPulse is run by a small team of Chinese artisans and engineers. We photograph our own work, write our own copy, and answer our own email — reach us here. Studio photography and founder profiles are being added as the site matures.
