Natural variation is a property of real stone, not a defect. Here is exactly what you are getting — and how to keep it good.
| Material | What it is | Disclosures |
|---|---|---|
| Cinnabar (朱砂) | Deep-red cinnabar-bearing mineral composite: cinnabar crystal set in a resin binder, the form used for carved Chinese ornaments for decades. | Composite, not solid crystal — many shops omit this; we do not. Tone deepens slightly with wear. Intended for wear only; not for ingestion; keep from small children. |
| Black Obsidian | Natural volcanic glass, polished round beads. | May contain natural snowflake-like crystallite specks. Glassy edges are polished smooth. |
| Tiger Eye | Natural banded quartz with golden chatoyant banding. | Band pattern varies strongly bead to bead — the characteristic, not a flaw. |
| God beads & talisman | Gold-foil engraved deity beads in five element colours; gold-tone alloy talisman on the Zodiac strand. | Alloy components may tone over time; keep dry to slow it. |
| Cord | Multi-strand elastic jewellery cord, double-knotted. | Roll on and off rather than stretching wide; avoid perfume contact. |
| Wrist | Recommended |
|---|---|
| 14–15 cm (5.5–5.9”) | 8 mm beads, or 10 mm for a looser sit |
| 15–17 cm (5.9–6.7”) | 10 mm — the everyday classic |
| 17 cm+ (6.7”+) | 12 mm, or ask us — we can restring to size |
All strands are approx. 16 cm unstretched on elastic and fit most wrists. Between sizes or unsure? Write to us — a restring is cheap and we would rather you wear it.
